Booby Trapped Tower Defense BETA v2.01
Hey guys, nost here to give you guys some updates on what we've been working on.
EdgyJelly has spent the last week rebuilding the game from scratch, with some help from me. On top of that there have been some new additions.
Changes
- Enemies now only have 1 HP
- Added new tower "Uma"
- Added new tower "Ushi"
- Added mute music functionality
- Added Babes (Shop) Panel
- Added a Main Menu screen
- Play starts the game
- Help displays controls
- Quit closes the game
- The map has been completely redesigned
- Screen size and default window size have been increased
Future Plans
At the moment we plan on adding 12 towers in total, all with different ways of attacking, instead of using the bullet. We also want to add more maps and a campaign mode. We're still in early stages of development and have lots of big plans for this game. If you want to see more frequent and bigger updates, consider supporting the Patreon or donating here on itch. I tried out the demo... Reached wave 72 where I decided to just stop entirely. If there is something I would like to see from the game it would probably be the variety of purpose to the towers. It makes me feel bad to see some of the girls left out and have little to no use. I earned money way too fast to do much with. It got a bit boring with little to no real reward or punishment to success and failure. In fairness it is in beta and it is quite bare bones. I do hope you find the gimmick that best represents the ideas for the towers and the girls in how they gathered together to fight off the invasion. Doesn't have to be deep but I do hope there is some reward for performing well. As it stands I cannot in good conscience rate this game until there is more to talk about. Best of luck to you if you're still around. I like the art direction but I do hope you spruce up the variety of girls.
